The Ather 450S has a 2.9 kWh battery pack with a range of 115 km, while the 450X can be had with a 2.9 kWh or 3.7 kWh battery, providing a range of 111 km and 150 km respectively.

The Ather 450S (top) and 450X (bottom) have subtle design changes that can be seen here. Also, the 450S is offered in four colour options, and misses out on 450X's additional True Red and Lunar Grey.

The Ather 450S is equipped with a new non-touch fully-digital instrument cluster with turn-by-turn navigation and Bluetooth connectivity. The screen can be controlled with the new toggle switchgear.

The 450X continues to boast a 7-inch TFT touchscreen instrument cluster integrated with Google Maps.

The 450S has a peak power output of 5.4 kW and a 22 Nm max torque, while the 450X puts out 6.4 kW and 26 Nm. The former can sprint from 0 to 40 kmph in 3.9 seconds, while the latter would take 3.3 seconds. Both have a 90 kmph top speed.

The 450S gets four riding modes - SmartEco, Eco, Ride and Sport. Additionally, the 450X gets the 'Warp' mode for added performance.

The Ather 450S is priced at Rs 1.3 lakh, while the Ather 450X with the smaller battery costs Rs 1.38 lakh. The 450X with the bigger battery will set you back by Rs 1.45 lakh (all prices, ex-showroom Delhi) after FAME II Subsidy & State Subsidy.
